Wedding in Hong Kong Yachting
One of the most memorable weddings I had the pleasure of photographing was that of Lorraine and Andy. The wedding ceremony runs aboard the 78-foot long recreational boat by Float. As a Hong Kong Wedding Photographer, I was truly honoured to be a part of their special day as they set sail to a new beginning in their lives as husband and wife.
An Atmosphere of Exclusivity
Float’s 3.000 square feet of entertainment space can accommodate only up to 60 people. Lorraine and Andy obviously chose to surround themselves with only the closest members of their family and best friends. The couple exchanged vows under a beautifully decorated arch of flowers at the upper deck of the yacht in front of the love ones.
On the other hand, Lorraine looked delicately pretty in her figure-hugging lacey white dress, while holding that bouquet of white-and-red roses and stood next to the groom. Together, they shone radiantly under the afternoon sun whilst sailing around spectacular Victoria Harbor.
The Wedding Banquet
In the end, the wedding ceremony ended shortly before the sun went down. My favourite photos of this wedding were when they watching their first sunset together as husband and wife. Lorraine then changed into a silky maroon dress for the wedding banquet on the yachting. Also, Float is famous for alfresco bar and authentic Chinese cuisine. The newlyweds’ family and friends enjoyed this cherished moment as they shared food, drinks, and unforgettable memories in this extraordinary yacht wedding.
I am truly grateful to have the opportunity to be Lorraine and Andy’s wedding day photographer.
